ABOUT US
In 2000, commercial fishermen Diane Flynn and Skip Barlow retired. Six months later, they decided retirement did not suit them and they opened Barlow’s Clam Shack. The former commercial fishermen were on a mission to combine their knowledge and skills to serve old-fashioned Cape Cod clam shack-style food. They worked to create fresh, delicious recipes that stayed true to the local tastes and favorites.
The Barlow family has been cooking on Cape Cod since 1668 when Grammaw Jane Besse-Barlow was convicted of cooking and selling her fine liquor to the Native Americans.
Having lived on Cape Cod since then, we have been a family of seafarers. Seafood is our family tradition. Whether you eat in, take-out, or eat in the picnic area, we hope you love your meal and it becomes one of your family traditions.

Barlow’s “Wicked Good” Lobster Roll
Fresh, local picked lobster meat served cold; on a bed of lettuce, with a dash of mayo in a warm, grilled roll. Served with fries. No fillers- this is NOT a lobster salad.
Whole Fried Clams
The Cape Cod Classic. Fresh, local clams purchased daily.
Served in bulk (just clams!), in Small or Large portions; or as a plate or raft with fries.

Fresh caught, purchased daily. Local menu staple. Served with cole slaw, tarter sauce, a lemon wedge & fries.

Twist on the original: combining two local favorites. Served with cole slaw, tarter sauce, a lemon wedge & fries.
Fish Sandwich
Fresh caught, locally source and purchased daily. Generous serving of fish topped with iceberg lettuce on a grilled bulkie roll. Served with tarter sauce and a lemon wedge & fries. Our most popular sandwich.
